About Me:

Oh heya, my name's Eliza.

I live on the Mornington Peninsula by the seaside with my family and our pet rabbit, Moose (plus a few chickens!). Though I've come and gone from the Peninsula over my lifetime, I always find my way back.

If you've been tattooed by me, you might have heard this story already, I have had a fascination around tattoos and tattooing since around the age of 17. After high school, I studied a Diploma of Visual Arts at Frankston TAFE. Fourteen years ago, the tattoo industry was quite male-dominated, and I was very self-conscious about walking into a studio, let alone showing my portfolio. So, I pursued a career in hospitality, though I kept drawing and crafting on the side.

A few years later, I became a mother to my daughter, Hazel Moon. The experience of motherhood was profoundly life-changing, filled with sacrifices that come naturally to us mums. Balancing the dream of entering the tattoo industry with the demands of raising a baby seemed almost impossible. I was always trying to find a way to make it work, though it felt like I was going to have to give it up.

Then, I stumbled upon an online company that sold stick-and-poke kits, I decided to give it a go. To my surprise, I wasn't half bad at it and discovered a deep passion for tattooing. I began practicing on friends and family, and the experience was incredibly fulfilling. It felt like everything had come together at just the right moment.

I've always had a deep connection to spirituality since I was a child, with a keen interest in oracle cards, witchcraft, and rituals. This spiritual journey has intertwined with my artistic path, adding a unique dimension to my work. This is how my Intuitive Drawings came about.

 One of my favorite aspects of tattooing is spending uninterrupted time with my clients. In today's fast-paced world, these moments are really hard to come by.

So here I am, tattooing beautiful clients from my home studio, self-taught with a blend of wisdom from fellow tattooists, doing what I’ve always known deep down I would love.
